Student-Led BOE Candidate Forums

Student-Led Board of Education Candidate Forums

Students of the Douglas County School District (DCSD) will be hosting three candidates forums to give parents, staff and community members the opportunity to get to know the candidates running for four seats on the DCSD Board of Education. These forums will be led by student groups at each school, including members of the DCSD Student Advisory Group. All candidates running for the DCSD Board of Education have been invited to participate.

Each forum will begin with a 30-minute meet and greet session with candidates before moving into the school auditorium for a 90-minute formal question and answer session led by the student moderators and facilitators.

Each forum will take place in-person and also be live streamed on the DCSD YouTube Channel. For those attending in person, as we will have students present at these events, face coverings will be required for all participating and attending.

As this event is taking place inside a DCSD school, and because students will be in attendance, face coverings will be required inside each building. We appreciate your partnership in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

To RSVP or propose a question for the student moderators to consider for their forums, please click an RSVP link below.
