Postgraduate Center

Ponderosa's Postgraduate Center

Located just inside PHS's Counseling Office, the Postgraduate Center provides a variety of resources for our students. This will be the central location for college visits to PHS.  Students will have the opportunity to meet with college representatives by appointment to learn more about the institution and to get questions answered.  With the recent purchaces of Chromebooks and iPads, students will have an additional area to work on their Naviance Tasks or to search for postgraduate opportunities.  Students can also seek advice in searching for scholarships, filling out college applications, build a resume and even practice interview skills.  All a student has to do is schedule an appointment through the counseling office, and someone will be available to help with the process.

Deadlines for Requesting Transcripts for College Applications

In order for PHS to send transcripts, all requests need to be made through Naviance.  As application deadlines approach, the amount of time it takes for colleges to accept our submission is often delayed.  In order to meet deadlines, we ask that all requests are made a minimum of 10 business days prior to the application deadline.  Please keep in mind that additional documents (letters of recommendation, teacher and counselor evaluation forms) beyond a transcript are required for applications being submitted through the Common App and must be completed prior to the transcript request deadline.  Below is a table to help guide you of when your requests are due.

Transcript Request Deadline

(and supporting documents)

College Application Deadline

February 15, 2018 March 1, 2018
March 12 (allowing for Spring Break) April 1, 2018

Midyear Transcript Requests

Students that have already submitted their initial transcripts through Naviance and are needing to send the midyear update should go directly to Misty Murphy to send with the $1 per transcript submission fee.  Additionally, if a student has applied through the Common App, their counselor will have to complete the midyear counselor evaluation form prior to submission.  Students should make that request with their counselor.

All initial transcript requests must be made through Naviance.
