Fine Arts Department

About the Fine Arts Department

The Fine Arts Department offers a variety of 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional classes. These classes include Drawing and Painting, Graphic Design, Photography, Sculpture, Ceramics, Jewelry, and Art Experience. Advanced Placement Studio Art is also available for qualifying seniors. The Fine Arts Department has just opened a second computer lab for the Commercial Art program. This is in addition to the existing digital photography lab. It has been very exciting integrating new technologies with traditional disciplines. We submit student work to many competitions throughout the year, and many of our students receive scholarship money toward college.

Student of the Month

Congratulations to Tyler Skaufel on being selected Student of the Month for January!  "Tyler is an incredible metal artist. Every piece he makes, he puts all of his effort into. He works throughout the entire class, uses his time wisely, and still helps his classmates in the process. He's not afraid of a challenge and is always willing to try something new. I enjoy working with Tyler and often seek his input in my own work."
