Are you set up to receive emergency text notifications from Gold Rush?

As more and more parents are relying on text messaging for quick and easy communication. The Douglas County School District has launched its text messaging service. Parents will need to opt-in, in order to receive emergency communication about their student’s school.

The district will only use this service to provide information that is timely and relevant, including emergency communication from our schools.

A snowy spring storm delayed the State Track and Field meet, but it couldn’t slow down Douglas County School District’s athletes.

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation released the names of the second group of winners in the 62nd annual National Merit Scholarship Program, including three Douglas County School District students.

More than 1,400 Colorado students applied for the prestigious Boettcher Foundation Scholarship this year, with 42 being named recipients. Of those, the Douglas County School District (DCSD) is proudly home to five recipients
