Hello, I'm Mr. Phillips and I will be your teacher for this class. I am originally from North Carolina, this is my second year at eDCSD. I spend a lot of my free time involved with theater around the Denver area and when I'm not doing that I love to travel. I am looking forward to this year and getting to know all of you.
My name is Mrs. Pulliam and I teach Secondary Science at eDCSD. I'm from Washington state and I went to Eastern Washington University where I studied Physics with a minor in Africana Studies. I love rock climbing and just about anything coconut.
Mrs. Roberts is a retired teacher of French and Spanish who now works parttime at eDCSD. She previously worked at Castle Rock MS, Mountain Vista HS, and Legend HS in Douglas County. She occasionally teaches courses at University of Phoenix, she loves to travel, and she also sells real estate.
Mr. Ruginis has been teaching high school math for 9 years. He recently moved to Denver from Chicago and has been working at eDCSD since 2014. His passions are basketball - which he coached for 5 years - music, and food (both cooking and eating). Nothing brings more joy to his face than seeing his adorable nephews and nieces :)
My name is Kerry Sanders. I am married and have three boys. I enjoy sports, the outdoors, and spending time with my family. I have been teaching for almost 20 years and enjoy teaching math at the secondary level.
I was born in Southern California and lived there until 2006 when I moved to Colorado. I earned my Bachelors of Arts, teaching credential and Masters in Education from the University of California, Irvine and my administration license from the University of Lamar. I have been the Dean of Students at eDCSD for two years but I have been working for eDCSD since it opened in 2007 as a Professional Learning Specialist and English teacher. I also taught English at Highlands Ranch High School and before that in California. This is my 18th year in education and I still love coming to work everyday and knowing that I can make a difference in the students' lives. I live in Aurora with my husband, step-daughter, baby girl who was just born in April of 2016, a very old golden retriever and 2 crazy cats.
Mr. Solak has taught Chinese at Legend High School since 2008 and eDCSD since 2012. He lived in Beijing, China for five years where he studied Chinese and taught English. Mr. Solak enjoys traveling and hiking in his spare time. His students say he is pretty awesome, but that has not been confirmed.
My name is Natashia Weisbeck and I am your Attendance Secretary. I am a Colorado Native and graduated from the Douglas County School District. I am currently going to school at the University of Alabama for Human Nutrition in Dietetics. I love Colorado and try to take advantage of the beauty that surrounds us as much as possible.
