PSAT/SAT help!

Students taking PSAT can sign up for SAT study plan

Colorado 10th-graders who take the PSAT for the first time this year on April 19 or 20 can sign up for the Khan Academy's resources to help them study for next year's SAT.

After receiving their PSAT results, students may upload their tests to their Khan Academy account to get customized SAT practice recommendations that are designed to help them where they need it the most. SATpractice.org

For more information about the Colorado PSAT 10, please go to collegeboard.org/colorado. To register for Khan Academy, students may go to this link: KhanAcademy.org.

Many are unaware of the major overhaul the SAT underwent in the 2015-16. Our resource:

  • Takes an in-depth look at updates made to the SAT test
  • Breaks down the test, test sections, & test questions
  • Covers test preparation from registration to test day

Wondering if you should take the SAT or the ACT? Here is a compare/contrast that might help you decide:

 ACT/SAT Comparison

I'm reaching out regarding a free Basecamp weekend in November for high school student innovators passionate about social change — put on by Watson, the incubator-institute in Boulder. We would love for your students to attend, at no cost to them, from Nov 10-12. Housing, food, and activities are all covered for the weekend. They'll have a chance to learn from local social entrepreneurs, receive mentorship, meet other young change-leaders from around the world, and be housed at Chautauqua Park with our current students for two nights and two days of immersive learning.
We're looking for next-generation gritty idealists to equip them with the tools, network and mindset to take on the world's most difficult social, economic, and environmental challenges. We hope you'll pass this along to students who would benefit from our Watson Basecamp weekend or parents and educators who can refer students. Please see attached info card, send along the registration link, and let me know if you have any questions!
