Global Village Academy

Add to Favorites

Global Village Academy is an innovative language immersion K-8 charter school, opening in Parker in 2015. Students learn core content and a second language through English and language immersion instruction at least one-half of the school day in their choice of Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, French, or German. Global Village Douglas County also offers a fee-based Global Village International Preschools. Our preschools provide year round instruction for 2.5 to 5 years old through immersion in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. GVA is truly a Global Village: our teachers come from all over the world, each bringing their unique culture and language into the classroom. United by a common, internationally bench-marked curriculum spanning each language village, students are challenged to become world class thinkers, capable of engaging ideas using multiple languages and cross-cultural perspectives.
