Thanks to our partnership with Microsoft, Douglas County School District students (K-12) and staff are now eligible for Microsoft Office ProPlus at no cost! This installation requires your DCSD user credentials; if you are associated with a charter and unsure what your @dcsdk12.org (staff) or @s.dcsdk12.org (student) email credentials are, please contact the registrar at your site.

*Please note - Microsoft support cannot assist with your DCSD email address and password. If you are experiencing login issues with the Microsoft Office Portal, please review the paragraph towards the bottom of this page which offers troubleshooting steps for login problems, some of which may require district IT staff assistance.
If you have an older version of Microsoft Office and you wish to upgrade to the latest versions, it is advised that you uninstall the older version before you install the this version.
To download and install your preferred version of Microsoft Office, visit portal.office.com and sign in with your district email address and password*. You'll be presented with a screen which provides an Install button. Follow through the installation process; you might again be prompted for your account name and password (use your DCSD email address and password) during the install.
After installing, you might be asked to activate the product. When you are prompted to activate Office 365, follow the prompts that appear on the screen. When you are presented with options for activatintg, choose the option Log in with your subscription and use your district email address and password.
*Parents - if you are unsure of your student's login information, you can log into your Parent Portal account and click on the Student Account Info link in the left column to see their current username and password. It is critical that you use their full student email address (ex. username[at]s.dcsdk12[dot]org) when signing into portal.microsoft.com.
- Try to log into your Gmail account with the same email address and password (eg. staffusername[at]dcsdk12[dot]org / studentusername[at]s.dcsdk12[dot]org).
- DCSD Students
- If you are a student and able to log in successfully to Gmail with that information, please send an email to office365support[at]dcsdk12[dot]org (*students only*) with the email address you are attempting to use, the full name of your student, the site (ie. your school) you are associated with, error message encountered (screenshots are a major help as well), and any other details you feel will be beneficial.
- If you are unable to log in to Gmail with your email address and password, please advise your student to contact their local school site computer tech for password reset assistance.
- DCSD Staff members with issues logging into the Office 365 Portal - Please submit a help desk ticket (helpdesk.dcsdk12.org) using the request type of ITS Applications - District Applications - Microsoft Office 365.
