HR Initiatives

The Human Resources Department created a list of 99 Human Resources department initiatives in the 11-12 school year.  Many of these were completed in the first year.  True to form however, we identified additional improvements to address each year afterward, resulting in 160 total initiatives, 100 of which have been completed.

These improvements include things such as:

  • Market-based Pay for Teachers
  • Pay for Performance
  • Employee Discount Program
  • Employee Relations Training and Support for Administrators
  • Recruiting Improvements
  • Substitute Management Improvements
  • Total Compensation Information for Employees

Still in progress are items like:

  • Go Paperless
  • Manager Self-Service
  • Automated Workflow
  • Process Improvement

We are already reaping the benefits of our many process improvements, and excited to continue tackling additional improvements.
