Employee Council

Want to have a voice in shaping the employee experience in DCSD? The Employee Council is a great way to get involved.

The Douglas County School District Employee Council is a voluntary group that brings employees together to provide feedback and help inform district decisions. Topics may include recruitment and retention, benefits, workplace experience, and other important initiatives. The Council includes 20 employees from across the district, representing Classified, Licensed, and ProTech roles, so a variety of perspectives are heard and valued.

What’s the Time Commitment?

The time commitment is minimal and manageable. The Employee Council meets once per quarter for one hour. During these meetings, you’ll have the opportunity to share your thoughts, provide feedback, and contribute to conversations that impact employees across the district.

How Do I Apply?

Interested in joining? We’d love to hear from you. Applications will open at the end of April 2026, and selected members will be notified by email in May.
