THE MISSION of the DCSD Communications Team is to support our district’s students, staff, families and community by:
1) providing transparent, timely and accurate information and resources;
2) communicating quickly, yet accurately during safety and crisis situations;
3) building relationships and partnerships; and
4) celebrating our students and staff in order to advance the common goal of providing a high-quality public education to all students.

THE VISION of the DCSD Communications Team is to help the community connect with, and invest in, their schools and the school district. The DCSD Communications Team will act as a trusted resource for schools, students, families, staff and community members. The Team will:
1) be intentional about meeting the needs of schools;
2) create strong relationships and partnerships with the community;
3) provide transparent and timely information; and
4) make district communications accessible to all.
