  • Medical care is provided through Kaiser facilities and providers. No coverage outside the service area other than urgent or emergency care.
  • You must select a primary care physician (PCP) for each covered member.

Kaiser Permanente - Kaiser HDHP with HSA

  • 2022 HSA Contribution Limits: Single $3,650; Family $7,300
  • 2021 HSA Contribution Limits: Single $3,600; Family $7,200
  • Employees age 55 or older are allowed a catch-up contribution of up to an additional $1,000 annually.
  • The District contribution is $100 per month for full-time employees and $50 per month for part-time employees. When calculating how much to contribute to the HSA, be sure to deduct the District's contribution from the IRS limit.
  • Higher deductible than traditional plans, but includes employee health savings account (HSA) partially funded by the District. An employee can contribute additional amounts to their HSA through pre-tax payroll deductions.
  • Triple tax saving advantage.
  • No coverage outside the provider network other than emergency care.
  • Employees may select either employee only, employee/spouse, employee/child(ren), or family health insurance coverage.
