Middle School Years

Teen Scene U

Are you looking for some place safe for your middle school student this summer?

The DCSD Before and After School Enterprise is introducing a NEW program for tweens that need supervision and activities for the summer. Located at Cresthill Middle School in Highlands Ranch, Teen Scene U provides supervision for children from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Kids in grades 6-8 will be engaged in learning activities and fun youth-centered destinations. This is the first of its kind in DCSD! Depending on the success of this program, we may open multiple locations in the future.

Further information can be found on the Teen Scene U program website.

About Teen Scene U

Program leaders Sterling Decosta and Mike Leon have long realized that there was a need for care for kids that have outgrown traditional child care, but still need a safe place to have fun and connect with others. Summer 2018 was the inaugural year of Teen Scene U. A place for just that-- kids to connect, have fun, and come together with a purpose for the day.

Parents were able to sign up for as many days as they wish, with no minimum attendance requirements. Parents will know where their tweens are, and feel secure that kids will be supervised and safe for the whole day.

Kids will enjoy:

Field trips to interesting and exciting destinations!

Cooking, Art,PE, and Science Classes!

Group interactions and team games!

Inclusion and FUN!

Join us! We are looking for fun kids that need great things to do next summer!
