Sid Rundle, Special Education Services Officer


Sid Rundle, Special Education Services Officer Sid Rundle oversees many DCSD departments, including Special Education, Mental Health, Health, Wellness & Prevention, Nursing Services, and Early Childhood Education. Sid has been part of the Douglas County School District family for his entire educational career (since 1992). Prior to becoming Special Education Services Officer, Sid served as the Principal of DCSD’s Cresthill Middle School since 2008. His educational journey has included time spent as a special education teacher/learning specialist, reading interventionist, professional learning specialist and assistant principal.

Sid is a strong coach and mentor in developing staff who have become assistant principals and principals in DCSD. One of his greatest strengths is his ability to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all students have access to a comprehensive and aligned education that best meets their needs.

Sid holds a Colorado Principal License and a Masters of Arts in Special Education.
