The Express Check-In registration process for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year is now open for most Douglas County Schools. For a list of schools with alternative Express Check-In opening dates, please see the Express Check-In webpage here. We encourage all parents to complete the registration process by the first week in August to coincide with the beginning of the academic year.

All families must check in through the link above using their Infinite Campus (IC) Parent Portal login and password. Once logged in, you will be presented with information for each of your students. Please complete the check-in process for each of your students individually.

Tool Available in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese
The Express Check-In tool is available in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese versions. Parents should see the option to translate the tool in the upper right hand corner.

Bus Transportation/SMARTag Cards

Families who are eligible for DCSD bus transportation (those who have a valid AM and/or PM route in our systems) will be presented with an opportunity to apply for a bus pass. If eligible families received a bus pass in the 2020-2021 school year, they need only select a billing option in the tool. The annual billing option is available until September 30, 2021 at which time all billing will revert to quarterly billing on a per-ride basis. We encourage parents to sign up for SMARTag notifications via the SMARTag Parent Portal.

Payment of Fees
Once you complete Express Check in for all of your students you can click through to the new fees payment menu. All DCSD parents will pay for required and optional fees in MySchoolBucks. Instructions on how to access the system are linked below. If you have previously paid for school lunches you should already have an account for this system. If not, please follow these instructions to create an account.

School Meals
The USDA has expanded its universal free school lunch program through the end of the 2021-2022 school year. While lunches and breakfasts (where available) will be available to students at no cost, we still encourage families who may qualify to complete the 2021-2022 application for free and reduced cost lunches as this impacts federal funding provided to the school district. Based on your application, you could be eligible for the Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) program. P-EBT is a program that provides a cash-like benefit to purchase groceries for students to replace meals they would have normally received when in-person at school during the pandemic. In addition, submitting an application also helps ensure students receive the maximum amount of benefits they are eligible for, including discounts on school fees and bus passes. It also ensures schools also receive additional resources to support healthy meals for students and afterschool programs.
