Central Enrollment for the Castle Rock Feeder Area

Are you Registering your child for Kindergarten for the 20-21 school year and live in the Castle Rock feeder area?

Please follow the directions below.

Are you NEW to the District and live in the Castle Rock feeder area?  

Central Enrollment is now using On-Line Registration (OLR).  You can do it in your home , library or you can come to West Support Center to work with our Central Enrollment Specialist.  If you are not coming to the West Support Center to do OLR, please click on the OLR button to access On-Line Registration (OLR) application.

The following documents need to be scanned and uploaded into OLR.
  • Your State ID or a Driver’s License
  • Student(s) Birth Certificate
  • Student(s) Immunization Record
  • Proof of Residency – Warranty Deed, Deed of Trust, current Property Tax Notice, Lease Agreement, County Assessor Page or Notarized Proof of Residency letter from the person you are living with.
  • Household Information – address and phone numbers, Parent information – addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers.
  • Emergency Contacts – addresses, email addresses, and phone number.
  • Student Information – demographic information, transcript (grades 10-12) or report card, and health/medication information.

What equipment do I need to do OLR at home?

  • Laptop, Desktop, Chromebook, Tablets or Phones.
  • Scanner (photos from phones are not accepted).  Documents need to be in a PDF format.

What if I don't live in the Castle Rock feeder area?  

  • If you do not live in the Castle Rock feeder area, you need to reach out to your neighborhood school to enroll your child(ren).

School Registration Forms and Policies

Are you new to Douglas County School District? Need to register your children for school? All new student registrations are done at your School of Residence. Not sure which school your children should attend? You can find the school boundary information on the Boundary Maps tab above. If you can't find the neighborhood school information on the Boundary Maps tab, please contact our office at 720-433-0095.

Required documents for Registration

  • Birth Certificate (State certified preferred)
  • Immunization Records Colorado Law
  • Proof of Residence (Warranty Deed, Deed of Trust, Property Tax Notice, Lease Agreement, County Assessor Page or Notarized Proof of Residency letter from the person you are living with (if your name doesn't appear on the proof of residency) along with a copy of their proof of residency.
  • Transcript, Last Report Card or Withdrawal Form (whichever has the most current grade information).

Already enrolled into a Douglas County School and you've been informed that you need to complete Online Check-in? This link will take you to the District's Online Check-in Site. You will need your Parent Portal logon credentials to access Online Check-in. If you still need your Parent Portal account setup, please contact the school your child is enrolled at.
