Please note that DCSD’s charter schools were not included in these surveys as they administer their own experience surveys at the school level.

Top Strengths Across All Groups

Most participants feel safe at school and trust that safety concerns will be addressed.

- Staff: 85% Agree or Strongly Agree (Staff are safe in their place of work)

Welcoming Environment
Our schools continue to foster a warm and inclusive atmosphere.
- Students: 66% feel welcome at school.
- Families: 83% feel welcome at their child’s school.
- Staff: 87% say DCSD is a welcoming place to work.
Academics and Learning
DCSD schools are meeting the academic needs of students, according to all groups.
- Students: 64% say their academic needs are being met.
- Families: 73% say their student’s academic needs are being met.
- Staff: 83% agree that all students' academic needs are being met.
