Wish Week 2020

Wish Week 2020
Posted on 02/28/2020

DCSD Wish Weeks Total:

Wish Week is all about students paying it forward through the Make-A-Wish Foundation or other charities of their choice. Though some schools use a different name, such as Grizzly Gives Week at ThunderRidge High School or Make A Difference Week (MAD Week) at Castle View High School, the intent remains the same: to change lives through compassion and generosity.

For seven days, the schools hustle to raise money to help families in need who are facing a child with a life-altering illness -- whether that is with a backyard greenhouse, trip to LEGOLAND, or a live performance of a special musical. Many high schools also involve their feeder elementary and middle schools in raising money, resulting in entire communities coming together to uplift and inspire.
