- At the January 2025 Board of Education meetings about pairing criteria, will the Board be considering which schools to pair? If not, when will the Board of Education consider which schools to actually pair?

What does DCSD mean when they say they will pair up to potentially six (6) elementary schools in the Highlands Ranch area?
If my child's school is paired with another, what will happen to my child's existing programming?
Once the receiving school(s) open in August 2026, will DCSD have arrangements in place to help ensure students get to school safely?
I have heard that 6th grade might move to middle school for some or all schools in the North Planning Area that do not already do so. Is this going to happen?
Has DCSD decided which schools will be paired? And how soon would DCSD pair schools?

- On March 24, DCSD circulated a survey to families and staff of 16 possibly paired schools asking about any questions they have about pairings along with what they need to help navigate school pairings. Can I access those results?
- If I am a staff member of a paired school, will I have a commensurate job after the pairings?
- I am a SPED staff member and/or a family with a student who receives SPED services and I have a few questions.
- What if my child is open enrolled at a school which will be part of the school pairings?
- If I am part of a family that is affected by these changes, do I have access to open enrollment?
- Has the District considered transportation adjustments for the paired schools?
- What role has staff played in the pairing conversations?
- How were the North Planning Area Engagment (NPAE) & North Planning Area Enagagement Staff (NPAES) teams chosen?
- Has DCSD worked with DCSD communities outside of Highlands Ranch on school pairings in Highlands Ranch?
- How can I get involved in community engagement opportunities about growth and decline?
- Has the District considered busing students to schools with available capacity?
- Has the District considered changing boundaries and/or feeders instead of pairing schools?
- Does the bond on the November 2024 ballot provide funds for the paired schools?
- What will happen to the school that is paired? Will it be sold? Lay empty? And can it be brought back as an elementary school if/when families with children move back in?
- Which schools are subject to decline and pairing in the North Planning Area?
- What are the risks/challenges of an under-enrolled school?
- Is the decision regarding the future pairing of elementary schools in the North Planning Area dependent upon a potential MLO/Bond election?
