As always, in the case of a closure, DCSD buildings are closed. This means:
- Preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school classes are cancelled.
- BASE programs are closed.
- Classes at the Bridge Program, D.C. Oakes, Eagle Academy, eDCSD and Plum Creek Academy are cancelled.
- All activities, events, sports, and facility rentals are cancelled.
The Office of Facility Rentals supports our stakeholders by managing use (inside and outside) of our schools within our community. With nearly seventy school sites, we provide a wide variety of space to suit our clients' needs. Our goal is to provide rental space for your organization while controlling costs.
The Office of Facility Rentals is one of the primary contacts between our community and our schools. A wide variety of groups (both non-profit and commercial) utilize our schools seven days a week.
A portion of the rental dollars is shared directly to the school, which gives the school additional funding to further support children's education.
