Safety Data Sheets

On this page you will find the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for the hazardous chemicals found in Douglas County School District.

Safety Data Sheet's provide more detailed hazard information about the chemical than is found on the label of the chemical. They are an important resource for workplaces to help you learn more about the product(s) used.  SDS's tell users what the hazards of the product are, how to use the product safely, what to expect if the recommendations are not followed, how to recognize symptoms of exposure, and what to do if emergencies occur.

Douglas County School District maintains a digital library found below with the Safety Data Sheet for every hazardous chemical found in the district.

If you are searching for a specific product, please use the search bar located below. If you are just browsing, please select one of the categories of chemicals.

If you are looking for a brand name science chemical, there are a few search tools available under the Science tab. Select the appropriate tool based on the brand name of the chemical.

To Add a new Safety Data Sheet (SDS) to the Database, email zlnannestad@dcsdk12.org with all applicable information, such as specific product name, type, kind, brand, etc. The more information you can provide the easier to locate the specific SDS and incorporate it into the database.

If you have any questions, please reach out to the Environmental Health Manager at 303-387-0467.
