Child Find
As part of the district's Special Education Program, we provide Child Find evaluations for children of families who reside in Douglas County. For more child development-related resources, visit the CDC, the US Department of Health and Human Services, or the Colorado Department of Education.
Child Find is a part of the district's Special Education Program. We act as a resource for families who are residents of Douglas County. Our Child Find teams offer developmental assessments at no charge for children from ages three to five years old.
Child Find Teams include multi-disciplinary specialists. Teams work with children and their families and conduct screenings and/or evaluations to determine eligibility for services.
