Week in Review

Thank you for your patience as we navigated our unpredictable Colorado weather this week. It’s hard to believe we had our first (and hopefully last) snow day of this school year in MAY!
 

Today marks the first day of May, (where has the time gone?!) Our families and staff often refer to this month as Maycember, as there is so much happening as we near the finish line for the 2025-2026 school year. Hang in there! It’s been an incredible school year and we look forward to finishing strong!
 

Professional Development Day

Today I had the opportunity to connect with the majority of our teachers and staff members on this last Professional Development day of the 2025-2026 school year. As we close out April, the end of the school year will be here before we know it. Here’s to a fun-filled last month of the school year complete with graduations, field days, student performances and so much more! But before that happens there are some great opportunities to get involved with our school district, provide feedback and celebrate our schools.

Congratulations to DCSD Legacy Campus students who were named Grand Champion at High-Energy Robotics Showdown hosted by the National Robotics League - Colorado. The Legacy Campus Team "Chopped Liver" received a $500 school grant.
