Strategic Sourcing & Contract Management

• The District uses Rocky Mountain Bidnet to post solicitations (RFx) and suppliers are encouraged to register. There is no cost to bid, but there is a cost to be notified when a bid is posted. 
• Prospective suppliers are invited to register with DCSD Supplier Fast Track, in addition to registering with Rocky Mountain Bidnet. This is not an “approved/preferred” supplier list. This registration not only creates a categorized pool of prospective suppliers, but also "fast-tracks" a supplier's onboarding should the supplier be chosen to do business with DCSD.
• Suppliers are required to sign a Master Services Agreement (MSA). This agreement can be accessed under Resources.
• No employee or close friend or family member of a District employee shall be allowed to sell to the District per Board Policy DJ-R.

• Suppliers must contact the Strategic Sourcing Department for prior authorization before contacting or visiting any school and/or staff member per Board Policy DJGA.

• Only authorized representatives of the Strategic Sourcing Department will issue a purchase order number, obligate the District for purchase of goods and services, and revise or cancel a purchase order per Board Policy DJ-R.

• No purchase will be made without the proper requisitions and authorized signatures. Exception to this procedure will be made only in an extreme emergency. No “confirming” or “after-the-fact” purchase authorizations will be allowed.

We accept deliveries at the warehouse between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:30 pm. Deliveries are received at the dock doors on the south side of the building.
