ALERT - BEWARE OF FRAUDULENT VENDOR REQUESTS
Please do not respond to any vendor request emails unless you are 100% sure they are coming from the Douglas County School District. Emails from us will only come from an "@dcsdk12.org" email address. We have heard from vendors that they have received fraudulent emails that are being made to look as if they are coming from our school district. If you receive an email and are unsure whether it is legit, please contact us at StrategicSourcing@dcsdk12.org to verify.

Prospective Supplier Information

The District does not have an approved supplier list. The District uses Rocky Mountain Bidnet to post RFPs and suppliers are encouraged to register. There is no cost to bid, but there is a cost to be notified when a bid is posted.
All suppliers are required to sign a Master Services Agreement, Master Provider Agreement, or Independent Contractor Agreement. These documents contain the District's insurance requirement along with a background check verification. If you would like a copy of these agreements please email StrategicSourcing@dcsdk12.org.
No employee or close friend or family member of a District employee shall be allowed to sell to the District per Board Policy DJ-R

Current Supplier Information

Suppliers must contact the Strategic Sourcing Department for prior authorization before contacting or visiting any school and/or staff member per Board Policy DJGA.
Only authorized representatives of the Strategic Sourcing Department will issue a purchase order number, obligate the District for purchase of goods and services, and revise or cancel a purchase order per Board Policy DJ-R.
No purchase will be made without the proper requisitions and authorized signatures. Exception to this procedure will be made only in an extreme emergency. No “confirming” or “after-the-fact” purchase authorizations will be allowed.
