At its work session on January 14, 2025, the Douglas County School District Board of Education conducted a first reading of the following policies.

• (New Policy) FCB: School Closure, Consolidation, and Relocation

• (Proposed Revisions) JKA-R: Use of Physical Intervention and Restraint 
  • Feedback Form - JKA-R
     
• (Proposed Revisions) JKA-E, Student Restraint Incident Report Form
  • Feedback Form - JKA-E

The deadline for feedback is Wednesday, January 22. 

The Board will consider second readings of these policy at a future Board meeting with the option of taking action for approval.
