Rock Canyon High School’s very own Logan Cary has been named the 2026 Colorado Gatorade Player of the Year. The most prestigious award in high school sports, Gatorade Player of the Year celebrates the nation’s best student athletes for their success on and off the field.

The award recognizes Logan as Colorado’s best high school volleyball player, and she joins an elite legacy that includes professional athletes, coaches and CEO’s. The title holds athletes to the highest standards and awards are based on the following criteria: athletic excellence, academic achievement and exemplary character.

“We could not be more proud of her for all of her hard work to earn this award. This award recognizes top tier athletic performance combined with academic success and strong community character,” shares Rock Canyon Head Volleyball Coach Angela Neylund. “Colorado is full of talented athletes and it is the highest honor to represent Rock Canyon Volleyball on this platform.”

Logan is graduating this May and will continue her volleyball career at San Diego State University!
