Pioneer Elementary Student’s Art Blooms in Parker

Pioneer Elementary Student’s Art Blooms in Parker
Ann Hriso

Congratulations to Peyton Oelrich, a third grader at Pioneer Elementary School, whose creation is featured as part of an installation to transform utility boxes across the Town of Parker into public art fixtures.

Thanks to Peyton and other local artists, wrapped utility boxes around town are now displaying Colorado inspired images, Parker history, and a mix of artistic and whimsical themes. Peyton’s winning artwork can be found on display as a water fountain wrap in Salisbury Regional Park. Check out her work along with the full collection of decorated utility boxes online, or in person! This contest was a joint effort by Parker Arts, the Public Art Commission and the Town of Parker.
