Chap’s SSN Pancake Breakfast was a Flipping Success! 🥞
Earlier this spring, Chaparral High School’s Significant Support Needs (SSN) classroom poured their hearts (and a lot of batter) into a pancake breakfast fundraiser at the Applebee’s in Castle Rock. The event brought in valuable funds, fostered independence and community connection. More than just a breakfast, the event was a learning experience for the students, who greeted guests, served food, cleared tables, and assisted with event setup and cleanup. These real world experiences helped build valuable skills while interacting with the public.
Thanks to the generous support from our community, an impressive $1,785 was raised to benefit the Significant Support Needs (SSN) classroom at Chaparral High School. Students will have access to new adaptive learning tools, classroom enhancements and engaging special activities that make a lasting impact.
A huge shoutout for Chap’s peer students who sold tickets, attended the event and provided unwavering support! Many thanks also to Applebee’s in Castle Rock for creating a welcoming space for the SSN students to succeed. đź’“
