Mentorship that Matters

 

For the past four years, Cherokee Trail Elementary has proudly hosted a weekly Boys Mentoring program that builds both confidence and character. Led by Mr. Bartuska, the group combines high-energy activities like basketball and team games, with meaningful social-emotional learning.  

Through trusted mentorship and purposeful play, students strengthen self-awareness, decision-making skills and healthy boundaries while forming strong peer connections. It’s more than a weekly meetup - it’s a supportive space where sixth grade students grow together physically, socially and emotionally.
