Cherokee Trail Elementary students demonstrated their community spirit by raising nearly $5,000 for the Advent Health Parker Hospital's cardiac ward. This effort, named the Heart Challenge, was spearheaded by physical education teacher Mrs. Whittingham three years ago. Students who collected donations earned prizes, with top contributors receiving a special movie outing to see the new Disney Snow White movie. Amazing job, Cherokee Trail!
