CDE Recognizes DCSD Schools for Academic Excellence

 

The Colorado Department of Education (CDE) is recognizing several Douglas County School District schools for high academic achievement with performance awards earned in the 2023 and 2024 school years. 

The Governor’s Distinguished Improvement Award is given to schools demonstrating excellent student growth on the school performance framework by "exceeding" expectations on the indicator related to longitudinal academic growth over three years.

The John Irwin Schools of Excellence awards recognize schools that demonstrate excellent academic achievement on the school performance framework by “exceeding” expectations on the indicator related to academic achievement over three years.
