The week before Winter Break was the perfect time for Arrowwood Elementary students to take a virtual field trip using StarLab, an inflatable dome that allows students to explore the world with state-of-the-art 180-degree video projection. Students traveled from the ocean reefs in Belize to feeding time at a giraffe refuge. The experience also included a trip through the cosmos.

Students learned about the creation of dark matter, how light travels through space and the impact of climate change on our universe. All this coincided with pajama day, making for an unforgettable experience!
