2023 Highlands Ranch High School (HRHS) Graduate Riley Cullinan is living life on a high note. She recorded her first album before heading off to her freshman year at Harvard University where she is enrolled in the Berklee School of Music’s joint five-year Master’s Program.

Riley wrote and recorded her debut album, ROY G BIV, with the help of her dad, Cory Cullinan, who wrote “Stay at Home” during the COVID-19 pandemic and was featured on local radio and television.

In 2021, Riley opened up a United Nations General Assembly meeting with her voice on Grammy-winner Ricky Kej’s “The Sun Rises in Your Eyes.” After hearing her music, another recent Grammy-winning artist contacted Riley about collaborating on future releases.

Singing has been an integral part of Riley’s life. At HRHS, Riley was in Belle Voix and Talons and made the all-state choir during her junior and senior years. She also played on the varsity soccer team and loved being involved in the theater department, namely as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Sophie in Mamma Mia, and Mrs. White in Clue. She loved her teachers and friends and already misses HRHS!

Check out Riley’s music and her music video for her song, “Blue.”
