Parker Core Knowledge Named Blue Ribbon School
Parker Core Knowledge Named Blue Ribbon SchoolPosted on 10/03/2023Parker Core Knowledge, a charter school in the Douglas County School District, has been named a Blue Ribbon school by the U.S. Department of Education. Parker Core Knowledge is one of only four Colorado schools to receive the honor this year. The award recognizes schools in one of two performance categories. Parker Core Knowledge is recognized as an “Exemplary High-Performing School,” making it among the state’s highest performing schools as measured by state assessments or national normed tests.
"I am delighted to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the educators, families and communities of these outstanding Colorado schools for their remarkable achievement,” said Colorado Education Commissioner Susana Córdova. “Your unwavering commitment to our students and your tireless efforts to provide them with the tools for success, both inside and outside the classroom, are truly commendable."
The other Colorado schools to be named to this year’s list include Cedaredge Middle in Delta County, Dennison Elementary in Jefferson County and McClave Elementary in the McClave School District.
