DCSD Nutrition Services is serving up FREE lunches all summer long for kids 18 and under at multiple locations in Douglas County! Kids must be present and meals must be eaten on site.

The dedicated students of Sierra Middle School's National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) committed their 2024-2025 school year to academic excellence and fundraising. Not only did these students partner with Clothes-Bin Recycling to make a positive impact on the environment by keeping textiles out of landfills, they also raised funds for the following charities:
Mountain Vista High School has triumphed at the United States Academic Decathlon, clinching first place nationally in its division. The United States Academic Decathlon is an extremely rigorous, team-based academic competition requiring high school students to master college-level material.
Congratulations to Castle View High School Junior Abigail Reynolds for earning the 2025 Stephanie Foote Leadership Prize from Girl Scouts of Colorado. Abigail created a program, Gearing 4 Engineering, that set out to break down gender stereotypes that might discourage girls from pursuing careers in engineering.
Kaylee, a young artist and student from Cloverleaf Enrichment School, channeled her creativity into a winning entry for CORE Electric’s art contest.
Highlands Ranch High School engineering design and development has done an excellent job of preparing students with valuable, real world skills!
Pine Lane Elementary fourth graders had history come to life with an unforgettable Pioneer Days experience! Students stepped back in time and explored the daily life of early settlers through hands-on activities that blended fun with education.
