Birth Certifcates Necessary for Enrolling
Certified birth certificates are needed to enroll children in school, sports and numerous after-
school programs. They are also required when applying for a driver’s license, social security card
or passport. A souvenir baby footprint birth certificate from a hospital is not acceptable as a legal
