DCSD Weather Closure Procedures
Please check the District web site during inclement weather for cancellations of all after school activities. This includes all rental events. (Refunds will not apply)
 

Facility requests for 2008-2009 school year will be accepted beginning at 7 AM on May 1, 2008.
Sports requests from current renters:

For Fall/Winter sports will be accepted May 1, 2008.
(New renters may submit requests June 1, 2008)

For Spring/Summer sports will be accepted November 1, 2008 beginning at 7 am.
(New renters may submit requests January 1, 2009)

Steps for requesting use of a Douglas County School facility:

Read and be familiar with the regulations and guidelines for using Douglas County School facilities.

Administrative Policies
See Policy KF-R-1 Community Use of School Facilities Administrative Procedures and Regulations 

Make sure current insurance is on file with the Facility Scheduling office, showing Douglas County Schools as additional insured for $1,000,000.

Calendars now available! Look under "My Schedule Requests" to view the school calendars.

Submit a Facility Use Application.

Your request is final only when these three things are complete:      

  • Current insurance is in place showing Douglas County Schools as additional insured, (including hard copy on file in Facility Use office).
                  
  • Schedule is approved and active.
                
  • Payment has been received by Facility Use office.
  •

As per KF-R-1: Administrative Procedures and Regulations / Application for Use of School Facilities
        
Application must be submitted to the Facility Use Coordinator a minimum of ten days prior to the event. Rental groups that are organized on a school-year basis need apply only once during each school year.

All invoicing is sent via email.

Requests will be accepted for groups with current invoices paid in full.
