College Ready can advance your education! Here’s how:
College Ready Logo

The College Ready Program is being offered to DCSD students. This program will lower the cost of college, increase flexibility of academic options, increase ease of access to college coursework and prepare students for a seamless transfer into college. College courses are offered during the regular school day, and they are taught by ACC-qualified high school instructors. Students will receive academic and career advising to provide the support students need to succeed in college classes.

How can I get dual credit for one class?

Students will earn dual high school and college credit for the ACC classes they complete with a C or better. Students are offered a choice of taking a variety of ACC college curriculum that includes both academic and career and technical education courses. Course locations and times are determined by student demand and the availability of qualified faculty. Students should ask their high school counselors for more information.

College Ready is a partnership made possible through the efforts of Douglas County School District and Arapahoe Community College.

  • Douglas County School District and the College Opportunity Fund pay all tuition costs – that’s FREE college!!!
  • Courses can transfer to any college or university – transferability and degree applicability are up to the accepting institution
  • Students earn credit on both their high school transcript and an ACC transcript
  • Students purchase textbooks
  • Savings of over $250 per class!
  • Students begin building their college transcript while still in high school
  • Students get the challenge they need to get ahead.

How to get involved - 6 easy steps:

  1. Apply to ACC
  2. Apply for COF (College Opportunity Fund)
