LIFT (Literacy Instructional Framework for Teaching)

LIFT stands for Literacy Instructional Framework for Teaching and is a balanced approach to teaching reading and writing using researched-based best practices. The instructional practices that should be seen in every LIFT classroom every day are called the LIFT Elements and are listed below.
