Identity Management (IdM) Overview

Implementation of the Identity Management (IdM) in the district will automate the account setup and maintenance process in all applications, provide staff members with Single Sign On portal access to their applications, allow staff members to reset their own passwords across the board, and add standard account authentication and auditing capability.

Phase I will include the installation and configuration of all tools, and integration of Active Directory, Infinite Campus, First Class Email, Portal, Apex applications.  These are the same systems that were tested during the Proof-of-Concept.  Phase I began September 1, 2007 and is expected to be completed on January 1, 2008.
