Technology Review and Adoption Committee

The Technology Committee exists to ensure a technology environment that directly supports the Goals and Executive Limitations of the Douglas County School District.  The committee is comprised of technical and non-technical district staff, appointed by the district’s Chief Information Officer (CIO), and reports directly to the CIO.

The Technology Committee is charged with reviewing all requests for new hardware and software to be used within the school district environment. Adoption of new technology resources, those that are not listed in the district’s published technology standards, requires review for recommendation of final approval by the CIO.
