DCSD Information & Technology Services has established a Program Management Office (PMO) as a means of achieving a greater degree of success in its technology projects. The PMO is charged with creating and maintaining a documented Project Management Methodology for use in all technology projects.  It serves as a guide to the organization as it selects its projects, to project teams as they plan the work, to management as they supply the required oversight, and to Sponsors and Customers as they collaborate in the design and delivery of project deliverables. This methodology is designed to be consistent with PMI® Global Standard methodology.
