Welcome to the Community University. Formerly known as the Parent University, Community University allows us to provide adult education to a wider audience. We will continue offering the valuable parenting classes that have been offered since 1997, but will be adding new courses serving community interests.

Some courses are offered in face-to-face settings, some are offered online so you can complete them anytime and anywhere, and some are blended models that combine the best of both.

Courses are offered in four strands, below is a sampling of course offerings in each strand.

Expert Technician Academy (ETA) is an industry/workforce/education partnership that addresses hard-to-fill skilled employment needs in Aerospace, Energy, IT and Bioscience industries. This collaborative effort is a training center that teaches students, both youth and adult learners, the technical skills required by industry partners to ensure that real-world experience components are an integral part of the training programs. Industry partners for each training program provide expertise in developing and maintaining relevant curricula, equipment donations, internships and/or job placements upon successful completion of the training programs.
