Douglas County School District offers three alternative programs leading to teacher licensure.
Alternative
1 year program

Requirements for program:

  • Statement of eligibility from Colorado Department of Education
  • 24 Credit Hours of college course work in content area
  • Obtain full time teaching position in the State of Colorado
  • Pass PLACE or PRAXIS in content

2 year program
