Funding

Nutrition Services is operated as an enterprise fund separate from the general fund. Operating expenses are paid through federal funds and revenue collected from the sale of food. This means that district property tax money ends up in the classroom where it belongs.

Our Scope of Work

• Nutritious, well-balanced lunches are offered every school day. Our lunch prices are: Elementary $2.50; Secondary $2.75. Reduced meals are $0.40.

• Breakfast is served at 28 elementary schools and in all middle schools. Our breakfast prices are: Elementary: $1.50; Secondary: $1.75; and Reduced no charge.
  

• Free and Reduced Lunch - we accomodate those in need with opportunities to receive a free or reduced cost meal. Applications for Free and Reduced price meals are avialable at school sites and at our central office. Please call 303-387-0338.
