DECA - An Association for Marketing Students

DECA—is a career and technical education student organization for all students enrolled in secondary marketing education programs in Colorado. The mission of DECA is to enhance the co-curricular education of students with interests in marketing, management, and entrepreneurship. DECA has been on the cutting edge of educational innovation, working with the business community to integrate academic achievement with career skills. There are many opportunities for members including, local, state and national competitive events, leadership development, community service, and scholarships in excess of $100,000 are awarded annually at the many different conferences.

FBLA - Future Business Leaders of America

FBLA—is a national organization open to all students interested in business careers. The mission of FBLA is to assist in developing students into future business leaders, teaching students about community responsibility, practicing effective money management, and developing leadership skills. As a member of your FBLA chapter you will have a real-world tie to business. FBLA also offers professional development through meetings, conferences and workshops. Members can gain recognition, experience and cash awards by participating in a variety of partnership programs including fund raising, educational programs and scholarships.

FCCLA - Family, Career and Community Leaders of America

FCCLA—is a dynamic and effective national student organization that helps men and women become leaders and address important personal, family, work and societal issues through family and consumer sciences education. Chapter projects focus on a variety of youth concerns, including teen pregnancy, parenting, family relationships, substance abuse, peer pressure, environment, nutrition and fitness, teen violence and career exploration. Involvement in FCCLA offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life – planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision-making and interpersonal communication. Members also have the opportunity to compete in contests related to the life management curriculum.

FFA - Future Farmers of America

FFA—is for students from 14-22 years of age enrolled in agriculture education. Well over a half million students across the country are becoming leaders, building self-esteem and preparing for a career in the field of agriculture. Being a member of FFA can offer students, scholarships, community service opportunities, and many competitive event activities; you can hardly avoid being a winner.
