Employee Hiring Paperwork Information

Welcome to Douglas County Schools. We're pleased you have selected Douglas County Schools as your place of employment.

Please download the "New Employee Hiring Packet" and view the two videos below that contain information from the Human Resources, Payroll and Benefits Departments. The videos also provides instructions for completing the essential hiring paperwork in the "New Employee Hiring Packet".

If you have any questions pertaining to the materials in this packet, please contact the main office at 303-387-0100 and the receptionist will direct your call to the appropriate
department. We look forward to meeting you at orientation.

  • Classified orientations are held each Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
  • Teacher contract signings are held at a variety of times.

Both sessions are at the following location:

620 Wilcox St., 2nd floor Board of Education room
Castle Rock, CO 80104

Once you have been given a date to attend an orientation by our H.R. Records Specialist, please bring the following items with you to orientation:

  • Original forms of identification (explained in the DVD)
  • A photo copy of the above identifications
  • A blank check to set up Direct Deposit
  • The enclosed paperwork, completed.
  • If you are eligible for insurance benefits, you have up to 31 days from your start date to complete and submit these forms. You are more than welcome to bring the completed forms to orientation or submit them at a later date.
