DCSD Facility Use

Steps for requesting use of a Douglas County School facility:
Conditions for Facility Use
  1. Read and be familiar with the regulations and guidelines for using Douglas County School facilities.
  2. To access the web page for facility requests, click on the following link: http://www.myschoolbuilding.com/myschoolbuilding/MyScheduleNew_wiz1.asp?acct
    1. Enter your e-mail address.
    2. Enter your last name (for new users).
    3. Follow prompts entering all required information. Use account number 184871636 . (Fields with a red check by them are required fields)
    4. Click on “My Requests”.
    5. Click on “My Schedule Requests” to see the school calendars.
    6. Click on “Schedule Request” tab at top of page.           
    7. Choose the type of schedule you need.
      (for schedules under 20 days in the same room and times, use a "normal" schedule request.)           
    8. Follow prompts entering all required information.
    9. Select Location and click on binoculars to choose a room or multiple rooms. (do not select an area)
    10. Enter start and end times, (the program will fill in “duration” and “spans over” for you)
    11. Check availability.
    12. Tax exempt groups, please enter your tax exempt #. (non-profit groups, please submit a copy of non-profit status to the office of the Facility Use Coordinator)
    13. The Password is password.
    14. Enter your group’s insurance information. (a hard copy of insurance coverage must be on file with the office of the Facility Use Coordinator)
    15. Enter any set up requirements or other needs.
    16. Enter number of participants.
    17. Under Other Needs, please enter the name of a responsible adult that will be present at the time of use.
    18. Save, this submits your request. (make a note of the schedule # you receive vie e-mail. for future reference)
    19. You will receive 2 e-mails from FSdirect, stating your request has been routed to Denine Kysar. Please note the schedule ID number. As the schedule is routed to the school and back, you will receive e-mails. When you receive an e-mail from the scheduling office confirming your request has been activated, please print a copy to have with you at the event. This copy is your contract and will serve as identification for district personnel.

 

Your request is final only when these three things are complete:

  • Current insurance is in place showing Douglas County Schools as additional insured, (including hard copy on file in Facility Use office).
  • Schedule is approved and active.
  • Payment has been received by Facility Use office.

Please enter the name of the On Site Adult Responsible Contact in the area labeled Other Needs.
