Mission:
To recognize Classified employees who demonstrate outstanding efforts or contributions toward the ideals of the DCSD Core Values.

All Non ATU Classified Employee Are Eligible For This Program
Anyone Can Be A Nominator
All District Related Achievements Are Eligible For Recognition
Employees Start At Tier I And Progress To Tier IV

It is with great pleasure that we recognize the efforts and achievements of our valuable assets, “Our Classified Employees.” The Pillars Of Support Awards offer four Tiers of recognition opportunity. A District Committee will review, evaluate and determine which employees move from Tier I to the next level.

Tier I	Committee Members will determine which nominees from Tier I advance to additional Tiers. All nominees will receive a Certificate along with a Letter of Recognition from the District Superintendent. Nominations will be taken on a continual basis and you may nominate as often as you wish.
Tier II	Selected nominees will receive a $25.00 gift card and the opportunity to advance to Tier III.
Tier III	Selected nominees will receive a $50.00 gift card and the opportunity to advance to the final level, Tier IV.
Tier IV	One finalist from each Job Alike Group will receive $500.00 cash!

Individuals who wish to participate in the nominating process may obtain their nominating forms from the District’s Central Administration Building as well as all school locations, the DCF office and the District website.

Nominators are not restricted to employees of the district. You will however, be required to supply the committee with contact information for each entry and upon submission of the nomination form, you must explain the linkage between the recognized achievement and the District’s Core Values in the clearest and simplest terms possible.

Anyone may be a nominator, and you may be nominated as frequently as significant and noteworthy achievements allow. Submitted nomination forms do not require a supervisors signature. Nominations for 2008-09 wil close on Friday, February 27, 2009.
