Hiring Process

Your personal data will be entered into our applicant database. When your data is in the database, it will be available for matching with open positions. Principals, supervisors and hiring teams will have the opportunity to review your qualifications as they seek to develop pools of the best-qualified applicants for their specific teaching needs.

If they wish to discuss your candidacy further, or to interview you, they will contact you directly. If you have not been contacted, it will mean there are no open positions for which you qualify, another candidate was hired, or there are no open positions available at this time.

You may wish to monitor the availability of open positions on a regular basis by visiting the DCSD Job Postings Web Page

Your application materials are all you need to submit at this time.

When you are offered a position you will be asked to submit the following to the Office of Human Resources:

  • copies of college/university transcripts
  • copy of appropriate Colorado Teaching License
